What Happens During My 2-Months off From Writing?

I have been away from writing for 2 months.

I procrastinated and did not have the momentum to tidy up my messy thoughts and share my voices online — Feeling like running out of gas to continue my writing journey.

Each day becomes like a Groundhog day to me now, where I wake up, eat, work, read, and sleep. Unfortunately, I did not come along with much aha moment that inspired me to write.

I did draft one or two articles during this period. One is about cultural diversity in my team and how much I appreciate having multi-functional people in my firm. But after the first draft, I hesitated and got reluctant to share it. I started to question the value of my writing on whether it would make a difference to my readers. I am scared that it will become another happy talk article on the D&I topics out there.

I eventually decided to park that article for the time being. Perhaps it will come out again when I figure out the value and novelty from there. Let’s see.

Yet, I would not give up on writing.
